We made this for Christmas and it came out so good! The kids and I loved that we made our own cinnamon rolls ! We used spelt flour and it turned out great

Has anyone tried this with sourdough? I was trying to think through what the process would look like. I might try to wing it.

Really yummy! I underbaked them a bit, on accident, but the taste is delicious! I swapped maple syrup, instead of honey, for the cream cheese icing and that was scrumptious!

Is the cream cheese frosting really that simple?! Just want to make sure nothing cut off the bottom of the recipe! Can’t wait to try- thank you!!

Is the “basic bread recipe” we’re supposed to use called “Kristin’s fluffy sandwich loaves”?

In the video, you pour something in the pan before you cooked. What is that and can you freeze them with that glaze? And then do you frost them with cream cheese frosting after they are baked?

I am pouring heavy cream in the pan just before baking. You will want to do that just before baking, not before freezing. Frost them after they are baked, yes.

When it says “1 batch of basic bread” does that mean the whole 2 loaf batch makes 12 cinnamon rolls?

I plan to gift these for the holidays. What do you suggest regarding the icing. If I give them to people already iced then if they want to heat them up, the icing will melt. Should I ice them or give them a small container with the icing.

I would say giving a separate container of icing would be nice!

If I wanted to make these ahead but cook in the morning, at what stage is best to put in fridge- before or after the rolls rise? I’m assuming bring out to room temp before baking, too.

Do you mean you do the first rise, then shape, then put in the fridge for 2nd rise by morning? Do you need to sit it out in the morning before baking?

Correct. They don't need to sit out before baking unless they didn't rise enough in the fridge.
