Would using storebought bread flour for this recipe be problematic? I’m totally new to bread-making so I don’t have a ton of experience to rely on.

Is it better to cool loaves in the pan or out? Thanks!

I love this recipe but the honey taste is very dominant in my bread, is there anything I can do to reduce the honey taste?

You could use sugar instead, just increase the liquids to make up for the lack of honey

I love this bread when I’m in a pinch and need some quickly! It takes a lot longer to cook for me. I don’t typically need to adjust my timing for things but to get the loaves to about 180° it definitely takes longer. Today I’m trying to bake at 375 to see if that helps speed things up.

I have a question regarding the “all purpose flour” that is used in this recipe. I have used hard white wheat. Is this something that I need to change? Because I have found that it’s very heavy falls apart easily.

Search “basic” in the app and my basic bread recipe will pop up - it’s for fresh flour :)

Hi! Great question. So this recipe was formulated for people not milling grains and are using store bought flour. You will want to use my recipes for Sandwich bread that call for fresh milled flour :)

I'm new to this group! When I'm looking at the counts for these recipes how do I interpret them? For example, 2 means serves 2 people? Or does 2 mean 2 small/medium sized loafs? Thanks!

That's a great question - for breads the amount means the loaves it makes and for all other recipes the amount is the amount it serves (estimated the best we can) :)

Can you just pop all of these ingredients into a bread maker?

sometimes the ratios in bread machines need to be different than ones where you can gauge the dough and add more or less flour at different points. so I can't say for sure since I've never tried this recipe in it, however, I am working on new bread machine recipes now - so stay tuned
