I was elbow deep in chocolate, muttering about never making this again while wrestling the gooey “squares” into the melted chocolate. My 3 year crying because I changed my mind about letting her help after I realized this was going to be a mess even with my adult experience and precision. Alas, once I tasted the final product I deemed this a weekly must have. I used dark chocolate and added a sprinkle of sea salt before the chocolate set up. You would never know the caramel is dates and almond butter. These are seriously fantastic! Toddler approved!
