I like unsweet just because that's all I buy, but if you want a sweeter 'donut muffin' you can do sweetened. This is not a very sweet recipe

I only have hard white, does the type of flour make a huge difference for baked goods? Trying to learn one thing at a time with the milling 🤣

It does make a difference - soft wheats are best for non-yeasted things like quick breads
