What mixer do you have? Every bread recipe I try mixes for way longer than your recipes call for.

I have an ankarsrum mixer - it's linked in the "favorites + links section". The mixing time is just an estimate - it's better to read the dough and learn what to look for rather than rely on a certain amount of time because everyones flour, mixers, humidity etc is different.

I made these! I did cook in a cast iron pan with lid though. These were delicious and fluffy! More soft than other recipes I have tried.

These freshly milled english muffins are so yummy! I've made them several times and they freeze well. We enjoy them with butter and jam, but primarily turn them into freezer breakfast sandwiches for a quick and nutritious breakfast. So good!

Yes! We make these and freeze them all the time- sometimes as sandwiches and sometimes as just the muffin!

Has anyone ever made these with dairy free milk? I’m wondering how they will turn out with Almond milk or Oat Milk?

I’ve made breads with all varieties of milk or even water subbed in and flavour is not affected in any noticeable way.
