Hi, Kristin! I would love to make a few different batches of your scones at once and freeze. Would you freeze them shaped and unbaked or already baked? Thank you!

Hi! Freezing once they are cut in their unbaked form is best. Place them on a baking sheet and freeze. Then after 24 hours, move them into a freezer bag. To bake, just add a few minutes to the baking time, and bake from frozen :) I hope that helps!

I have coconut sugar, brown sugar, white sugar, honey, and maple syrup. Would any of these work for a substitute for maple sugar?

I actually misread the recipe and used maple syrup and it came out fine. The batter was a little more wet so I adjusted the flour. Happy mistake 😂

Yes, coconut or regular white sugar is a great replacement
